Something about SHREYA DI and her carrier.

Hey guys again i am back with new posts. I thought to start this blog with the biography of our sweetest, cutest n loveliest queen of melody" SHREYA GHOSHAL ".

so here we go .......

SHREYA Di took birth on 12th march,1984. Thank you god very much for sending such a marvelous singer. After taking birth her cries were so melodious that her mother thought of making her a singer. She started singing at the age of 4 years. Her mother accompanied her with the Harmonium. SHREYA DI was a very good learner. Her parents enrolled her for formal training in Hindustani classical music in Kota with MAHESHCHANDRA SHARMA.

She won SA RE GA MA PA twice. Wah! its great na! I think she is the only one contestant who won SA RE GA MA PA twice. Once as a child she won the children special n again as an adult.

In the children special she was judged by KALYAN JI. He convinced her parents to move to Mumbai. She took 18 months training with KALYANJI n continued her classical music training with MUKTA BIDHE.

Hey thanx a lot to those people who helped SHREYA DI a lot. She has become a shining star and is now famous all over the world as a fabulous, marvelous, awesome singer.

Now lets move towards her academic carrier -

SHREYA DI studied in Atomic Energy Central School , Rawatbhatta and then she came to AECS Anushaktinagar. She also enrolled herself in SIES college in Arts stream.

SHREYA GHOSHAL'S carrier starts from here -

When she participated in SA RE GA MA PA the second time, she caught attention of famous film director SANJAY LEELA BANSALI in the year 2000. He was the one who gave her a chance to sing in DEVDAS which was her debut film. She sang 5 songs under the direction of ISMAIL DARBAR. She too won national award for her song "Beri Piya" from Devdas.

Again i want to thank u SANJAY sir for giving SHREYA DI such an opportunity .

After Devdas she became very famous and even worked with many famous music directors and produced excellent songs. She worked with A.R.Rahman,Anu Malik,Himesh Reshammiya,Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy,Pritam and Vishal Shekhar.

She has become very famous in north as well as in south. She won many awards.
