pranayam - 2 songs

Hi everyone , i am back again to post about 2 Malayalam songs from the movie "pranayam" . SHREYA DI has sung two beautiful songs in this movie under the direction of M jayachandran . I always love this combo , it brings out magic every time. So lets see the type of magic they created together this time.

The first song is "Mazha thulli" which is a duet by SHREYA GHOSHAL and Vijay Yesudas . Loved the start , it was super duper . Watte composition , loved it . It was a very good combination of many different music instruments.I guess it started with mouth organ followed by whistling and then music continued further with a train horn effect. Every thing was just fabulous , this is the magic which happened. The horn effect took me to "kasto maza" though it wasn't that similar.The music continued up to 37th sec and on 38th sec the male singer got up on his vocals , he was good,clear and crisp. His voice on music gave a good impact.This tarck is too good , its a semi masti wala track :) , i feel, not sure.Our melody queen made a super nice entry to the song on 1.30th min. The renditions were uber awesome, SHREYA DI rocks. The language is a bit too complicated for a non malayalee to attempt but our melody queen even more blessed .A sense of oldies too came, but it was ok. Flawless singing by SHREYA DI , hats off !! Ended with a beautiful harmony. Overall ,fantastical singing and composition.

The next song is "paattil ee paattil" which is a solo. SHREYA DI ruled alone through out the song like a queen. Did proper justice to the song as she always do. I guess it to be a sad song , i dont understand the language still. Its a slow song , with all emotional music.I respect the talent of SHREYA DI , bow my head down. The song starts great with birds tweeting at the sea shore :) awesome effect . You feel as if you are there . I appreciate the music and the effects that project the song at a great height. Magical pronunciation of course. Many different types of instruments has been used with our melody queen's voice to make the song a most beautiful one.

i am kalam - CHINI BHINI

This is a Bollywood movie , again . In this our melody queen is having a solo . The music is composed by Abhishek Ray beautifully. Now a days a new concept is on , in a film the total number of songs are shared between music directors and composed. You can find different composers for different  songs in a single film. I slightly disagree with it but yes we have too many composers coming up with their talent , so all must get a chance to prove themselves !!

Coming to the song , this is a masti song . A peppy track. Its full of energy including soft parts. Its sung in a different way (voice) , loved it. A little like in "sheher ki rani" :), a little . The song starts with dialogues after the music . The dialogues are there everywhere in the song , this is what i found which makes it different from other songs. On 32nd sec SHREYA DI started with "chini bhini" . The songs tells all about "zindegi" , life. This song reflects only the good  face of life. Some supporting male chorus also supported SHREYA DI with her vocals at some places. This song upgrades your senses and boosts you up with positive energy .It can change the way you accept your life , it can do a lot if you feel it. The song is well composed and amazingly sung. SHREYA DI is as usual sweet, in this song too . The songs ends with drum beats.

Swaralaya award !!

Our melody queen SHREYA GHOSHAL was chosen by Swaralaya kairali yesudas trust for this award for the year 2011. SHREYA DI's inspiration LATA JI also received the same award for her lifetime contribution to music. 

I want to congratulate LATA JI and SHREYA DI on winning this award !

Joy Alukkas signs SG..

Leading jewellery store singed our melody queen SHREYA GHOSHAL to endorse their brand.

National Awards won by SHREYA - Review !!

I am posting here about all the four prestigious National Film Awards awarded to SHREYA GHOSHAL for her dedication and perfection in singing. She is so humble and down to earth personality , she never thought that she reached to a height where no one can overtake her. For not having such thoughts she is in such heights . I love and respect her a lot .

There are in total 4 National Awards in account of SHREYA DI . All these awards were awarded to her by the president of India. Its a big honor to receive awards from The President.

phhir - GUMSUM

This "phhir" is a bollywood movie directed by Girish Dhamija. Its having a solo song by our melody queen - SHREYA GHOSHAL.The music is composed by Raghav Sachar.

The song "gumsum" is expected to be a sad and emotional number. The music with which the song starts is really a beauty . On 26th sec SHREYA DI starts with " gumsum hai dil " with a sad tone expressing sadness . It moves on slowly same as tears roll down your cheeks. Again in this i will appreciate the feel attached to it. This song is a fusion of talents , a result of meaningful reaction. The song is on repeat now , just WOW. Each and every word coming out from her vocal cord have something unique in them.This song is a gem. The antra was good and the ending was best .
