Only love - Nepali

Only love is a Nepali album by Basanta Chaudhary. This was released in the month of may but still the songs were not available. Its till not available for download , i think. You can play it on you tube. This is his fourth album in which SHREYA DI is having a beautiful song. The music is composed by Nhyoo Bajracharya.

 "Chhaechha Basant" is the title of the song. Its a solo. Its a slow song. The song starts slow with awesome music on flute and piano. SHREYA is not only melody queen she is queen of languages too, i loved her pronunciations in this. Nepali too she carried on with so much ease ! On 19th sec our melody queen starts singing , lovely feeling. Its a love song. It has got a classical touch on 1.11th min continued by tabla beats . I loved the rendering of "zooom zoooom zoooom zoooom" . The songs constitutes of feel and sense. It ends nicely after a short span music piece with various music instruments.

uro chithi - 2 songs !!

Its a Bangla movie "Uro chithi" , its BB not Blackberry. Lol it means Back to Bangla, haha. In this SHREYA DI is having 2 songs. One is solo and the other one is duet. Sohor ballad 1 is a duet and Sohor ballad 2 is a solo. The music is composed by Debajyoti Mishra.

The song "SOHOR BALLAD 1" is a duet by SHREYA GHOSHAL and Samantak Sinha.This song is also titled as "saradin honne haway" . As you might be knowing i have a keen affection towards Bengali songs by SHREYA DI, its her mother tongue. I find her even more sweet in singing these regional songs. So lets see what is there in it. 

This song (above one) starts with a sweet melodious humming by our melody queen and after some seconds the male singer starts slow and continues. Then after the short period drum beats the male singer accelerated and moved up to touch high notes then again came slow and soft.The song moves fast and sometimes slow, the pace is not constant.On 2.20th min SHREYA DI suddenly entered and carried on, i loved this part. I experienced the same thing in "khuda mere khuda" from "krantiveer". Beautiful song , lovely music , amazing composition and superb singing. SHREYA DI's voice is super gorgeous. Elegant singing. The song silently ends.

The second one is "SOHOR" or "sohor ballad 2" is also a nice song. Its a solo. I fell in deep love with the WAY she flows in this song, such a beauty . It will be difficult for me to explain . Hats off to the composer . Its a sad song and you can feel it too, the way she expressed is more than enough. I love this in SHREYA DI , the way she express everything through her singing , you dont need to see anything , hearing will be enough. The song reflects the worst part of life , worries , cries , death , sin , pray and many more. This song is in my favorites now. This song doesn't run long but it will make you feel what it says in that short period of time.It sometimes reminds me of the song "pal mein mila jahan" .

When harry tries to marry (Hollywood)

The movie is not fully Hollywood. Its between Hollywood and Bollywood. The India - American Nayan padrai directed this movie to be as a cross cultural comedy film. But the movie is more in Hollywood so we better call it as a Hollywood movie only. The movies is having many Indians and many Americans as crew.

The sound track of the motion picture features music by Sarah sharp. Siddharth Kashyap was the music producer of the Indian music and background sound composer. There are 20 songs in total sung by many different artists from India and outside India. One of the songs is sung by SHREYA DI as a duet with Rishikesh Karmekar.

The song "Aao nache gaye" is a duet as we know. This track is otherwise know to be "garba ki dhun" . A song nice to play, a slow song. A song of festivals, celebration , enjoyment. The song is a happy song, it can make you happy too. The start of the track was too slow and the end was fast. Mostly dhol is used in its music. Loved the composition equally as the singing, both superb. Up to 3.50th sec the song was in a slow pace then it continued fast with the dhol beats followed by the male singer singing his parts. The whole part before the Antra was sung by our melody queen and the Antra was sung together. So the maximum parts were having the sweetest voice with them throughout ! i am HAPPY, this song is a great creation !!

bodyguard - TERI MERI

This "Bodyguard" is a Bollywood film having a duet song by SHREYA GHOSHAL and Rahat fateh ali khan sir. The movie is the most awaiting one, i am waiting for its release. The music is composed by Himesh .

The song "Teri Meri" is the song which i loved . Rahat sir is famous for his alap. The songs starts with the same after the music on 15th sec. The music was good when it started but i cant't tell you the instrument used, it was nice.Maybe its a violin Its an emotional romantic song. Our melody queen starts with "teri meri" on 32nd sec. The song is good to ears but still i wont rate it as the best . i would give it 3.9/5, for the music and 4.9/5 for singing . I cant explain you the full construction of the song , its complicated. Loved the line "teri meri meri teri" . Rahat sir was on high pitch and SHREYA DI was normal. The remixes are appreciable too.

Khap - 2 songs !!

Again Bollywood, i am seriously very happy to hear SHREYA DI in hindi in almost all new releasing movies. She did a great job in doing this , she did 101% justice to the songs . I am really proud that i am a SHREYA GHOSHAL fan . Each and every song of her take me to a different world. Its so difficult to express ,really.

In this movie "Khap" we have 2 songs by SHREYA DI among all the 8 songs :) The music of this film is given by Annujj Kappoo. The two of the songs by our melody queen are duets with Shaan. I love this combo too for romantic songs.There are two more songs which are part of errors, i got confused and downloaded those 2 songs but i felt it wasn't SHREYA , still i reviewed them and posted. But now i deleted them as i am confirmed that its not her. I am feeling sorry as i failed to be sure in recognizing the golden voice. I was in doubt , only this feeling making me a bit happy. I expect much more !!

The first song is "Dewaanagi" . Its a emotional duet song with a lots of feel and emotions overflowing . I loved this a lot, playing it on repeat.The songs starts with whistling , this is used often to initiate a song but not always. On 24th sec Shaan got the start smoothly with "deewanagi" and on 35th sec SHREYA DI got her chance. The harkatein taken by our melody queen were such a nice experience. Its having less emotions than the feel , which i guess i am right on my point of view.I love the part when both the singers render the word "Deewanagi". The song ends with the same as it started. A perfect duet , you all will love it for sure.

The next song is again a duet by the same artists. Its "yeh wahi to hai haseen chehera" .Got a unique start , something new included. This is a kind of song which is sung just after when LOVE happens , lol. This song doesn't seem to be a modern song, i sensed something oldish oldish. I appreciate both the singers for there singing in this track, hats off !!

The Tamil movie "vandhaan vendraan " is having a duet song "Thirandhen Thirandhen " along with Aalaap raju. The music is composed by Thaman S.

This is a medium fast song. I am classifying it as if i am judging the speed of the ball by a bowler , sorry for that ;) I failed to point out anything new in it, its just a  bit more soft than other songs. There is very little space for breath as i felt. The start was really nice, SHREYA DI was singing with ease. If you play it then you can feel the best parts of the song which are getting difficult for me to explain. The effects and the singing on claps were nice parts. The song moved fast and sometimes slow.The lyrics was good too. Very little English was also used .Loved the ending more than the start , amazing. I hope you all will love to hear it.

This is again bollywood. I told you all that lots of Bollywood songs are yet to come. More are there too. In this movie SHREYA DI is having 2 songs , one solo and other one is a duet. The music is composed by Sanjeev Darshan.

The first song is "Mein Zameen pe hun" which is a solo song. The songs starts greatly. Lovely , romantic music. This is a very enjoyable song. In this the character tries share her happiness. The lyrics is sweet too , by Sameer. Loved the longest music piece over Guitar. Its a sweet song with rhyming lyrics. The song is in my favorites now. You can witness purity in sweetness of her voice.

The other one is " Chand wahi hai" which is a duet with Javed Ali. Its a romantic song. Its too romantic .Its soft and slow. I really don't have words to explain this songs.Its so touching. Play it,feel it. This is all what i want to say.Only this much.

Aarakshan - 2 songs !!

So again we are back to Bollywood. This one is next to "singham" and many more Bollywood movies are to come in which we have the magical voice of SHREYA GHOSHAL.

In this movie she is having 2 songs , both of them are duets. The music is composed by the extremely talented SEL. They did a great job working with the music of this film. This film is having Amitabh Sir as one of the casts , which is the second reason why this movie will be special for me. I too love to see Deepika padukone on screen. The song "acche laagte hai" was made on demand of Deepika as she requested to have one romantic song in it.

The first song "acche laagte hai" which is a modern romantic song is a duet by Mohit Chauhan and SHREYA DI. The song is less as a song but more as a simple conversation between couple. The song reflects the love,emotions , masti , anger that the couples generally have. I would like to call it a modern song as it crossed all the barriers of staying within limitations for composing a song. The song starts with claps and taps which i found something new.The male singer started on 18th second. Here the male appreciates the female and as usual   she takes is more casual. I loved the line "seedhe point pe aao na" sung by our melody queen.I am really in love with the way she renders each and every line of her part in the song with perfect feel and sweetness. The male singer continues as he was but the female singer brought out many different ways of singing. She did every line with a different rendition.It doesn't run for more,ends soon. A worth listening song, perfect.

The next song is "kaun si dor" by SHREYA GHOSHAL and Pt. Channulal Mishra . This is a semi classical song. Loved this song, its having a deep meaning , you can understand it well if you listen it carefully. I didn't liked the chemistry of both voices much but still the song is at top. The background alaps were really nice. The male voice was slightly oldish and the female voice was young. As a semi classical song its having a great future. I wish it win hearts more than awards. SHREYA DI did a great job in it, hats off. !!

Star parivvar awards 2011 - Title track

The title track of Star Parivaar awards 2011 is a duet by SHREYA GHOSHAL and Mohit chauhan. Its a lovely song . The male singer starts the song with "khwaishein khol do" . Its a song with some message to pass on. On 29th sec our melody queen got her start with the same lyrics with more sweetness. In the video of the song we have many different television stars . The music is too sweet . The combo of Mohit n SHREYA is best for romantic songs or slow song, i love the chemistry.

ak56 - KAREDAAGA

Back to kannada again. A song "karedaaga" in which SHREYA DI is having her contribution along with three other singers , Sonu Nigam,Rajesh,Reeta. The music is composed by Manohar and Abhimann roy.

The song is beautiful, it flows slow. The initial music is good, with some English lyrics.On 23rd sec the male singer started singing, i guess its Rajesh who just initialized and the song was continues by Sonu sir and then by SHREYA DI on 47th sec. After a while Reeta was the one who carried the song further with the English lyrics on, i guess. Rajesh did a good job with his singing and SHREYA DI did extremely well as usual. I just flow with the sweetness in her voice.Sonu sir got a very little part to sing , the female parts are mostly taken by our melody queen. The parts sung by Sonu sir is highly appreciable. Over all , its same as other composed songs , found nothing new except the concept of having 4 singers together but still its a lovely song. Do hear it.

prema khaidi - NUVVU NENU

This is a Telugu movie "prema khaidi" in which our melody queen is having a duet . The music of this film is contributed by D Imman.

The duet "nuvvu nenu" is by SHREYA GHOSHAL and Benny dayal. Its the Telugu version of the Tamil song "Neeyum nanum" from the movie "Mynaa". Everything except the lyrics is same. The song is good . It sounds totally same as that Tamil song even its lyrically different. Language shouldn't come between your love for music. Thank you SHREYA DI again :)

Malik ek sur anek was a show on Star Plus on 3rd July in which they were spreading the message of Sai Baba with the help of music. The line "malik ek sur anek" means there is one one god . It was a devotional evening to celebrate the the message of Sai Baba. The evening was passed in the presence of big super stars , singers and many others. The best thing is that SHREYA GHOSHAL was also called for her performance. I am happy as SHREYA DI was a part of it that day . She gave the best performance

Singham - SAATHIYAA

This is the most awaiting post for me, i was waiting for this day to write something about the song "Saathiya" from the day it released. I cant show you the love i have for this song,i played it many times.Hope i can explain you about the song .

There are only three songs in this movie and within that the most beautiful track "Sathiya" is sung by the most beautiful and most talented singer SHREYA GHOSHAL. Its a duet even if the male singer vocally contributed less. For me its like a solo.This music is directed by two brothers Ajay-Atul , the most famous music directors in Maharastra. They gave lots of good music to Marathi music industry and also SHREYA DI was awarded with a National Award a song composed by them. They too won the National Award for the same music.

Last day, on 28th i saw the movie "Singham" only for the song "saathiya" with less interest in the movie but liked it too. The movie is awesome. Must watch.

So back to the review. I am extremely happy as "Saathiya" got our queen's voice. The song is pure heaven. Its a love song, most beautiful song. This is a duet by Ajay Gogavale and SHREYA GHOSHAL. The composer too took part and contributed to the song,hats off.It starts with super romantic and soft music.The music piece on flute took my heart,its real heaven. Then our queen renders "Saathiya" , i just felt as if i am not on this earth. So beautiful, i don't have words to explain what i felt . Its a slow song. I love every part of the song, every sec every minute gave me pleasure. Its a simple song to hear , you cant point out any unique thing but still it sounds extraordinary. This is not a song, its a magic. There is a great meaning of the song .The male singer acted as a support.He supported her with alap in background and in some parts repeated the lyrics with her.This song occupied a big space in my heart , i closed the door of my heart and SAATHIYA is staying inside happily.It has got everything heart touching. I loved the three drum beats on 1.05th sec.Its a perfect love song. The lyrics by Swanand kirkire was also mind blowing .

Sihi Muthu - MAAYAVI

Kannada song again, now its a movie "Sihi muthu". In this our melody queen is having a single solo song. I just wish it to be the most beautiful song among all. Its music is given by V Harikrishna.

This song starts with western music with western feel too. This song is fully enjoyable. I always expect a song like "Gaganave Baagi" . This one is not as same still good. Loved the voice over the western music.The voice in this song is obviously sweet , lovely song. The use of drums ,electric guitar and so much of instruments were really worth. The use of traditional instruments like flute also made it even more more beautiful.Nothing to say more, just i loved the song very much. Its something different in it again :)

jogayya - 4 songs

This is a kannada track which is having 4 songs sung by SHREYA DI in forms of duets and solos. The music of this movie is given by V Harikrishna. I am too excited to post about it , i am really happy that maximum of the songs in this film is having SHREYA GHOSHAL's voice in it . So lets jump on to our main topic , reviewing.

The first song , Kuri kolina which is a trio by SHREYA GHOSHAL,Kailash kher and Vijay prakash.It starts with some funny lyrical music , then some western language is used with the music. The music is really really so beautiful, its something so nice to hear, something extraordinary, something different and also its not so difficult to point out , what's different. On 33rd  sec Vijay sir made a start , was really awesome. The song is based on some puja or something like that. Kailash sir made his start on 47th sec and for SHREYA DI it was 58th sec. She started so softly , awwwh so sweet vocally and lyrically too. "haan jee" inbetween was so sweet and a "kya ji" by our queen was even more sweet. The English lyrics was also used further.There were limited lines for our melody queen to sing .The ending was funny too. Overall the song is a huge hit. Its a positive result of the reactions between 3 voices,lovely.

The next song is "Jogaiah Baa" which is a solo with supporting singers.It has got a great start with the perfect voice. An emotional start she made. This is a very short song , we shouldn't call it a song too.The mukhda is sung by SHREYA DI continued by some English lyrics then the Antra contains lyrics like "bum bum bholenath" by chorus . Its predictable that this song is also based on something related to Upperwala.

Lets come on to "yaaru kaanaduru" which is a duet by SHREYA GHOSHA and Sonu Nigam. This seems to be a serious song, cant guess anything more.The music is appreciable again.The songs starts with Sonu sir's alaap,nice one. On 27th sec u will get to here SHREYA DI , sweet and serious . Loved the little alap by our melody queen .

The last one. Its "Odale" which is a duet by SHREYA DI and prem. Its a power pack song with some soft parts by the female singer. It has got a unique start.The male singer initiates with "odale" . On 47th sec, you get to hear SHREYA DI. The song also includes some conversations. The flow of the song has got a suddent change on 1.30th min where the fast flowing song suddenly falls to slow track with drum beats, i loved this. Hats off to the musician. Still the male singer was in his aggressive nature of singing. I still cant guess the concept behind this. I loved the song , its constructions.

Filmfare SOUTH !!

58th south India Filmfare awards ceremony was organised in Hyderabad. Our melody queen was a part of it that day, she attended it and fortunately she received two awards , she deserved them. This was a really beautiful  day for her and her fans too as we were all happy for this achievement.

The awards won were for "Unperao sollum" which is a Tamil song and for obviously the deserving "kizhakku poovkum" which is a Malayalam track.

Many many hearty CONGRATULATIONS to SHREYA DI !!
